It has been said that God loves people more than any thing; and if people is what God loves, that's what the Church of Jesus Christ should focus on. The mission of Sunday School is to fulfill the Great Commission and reach people. Sunday School is the largest evangelistic ministry of the Church because if you do not reach people you cannot teach people.

SUNDAY SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT

The Sunday School of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church exists to evangelize and educate adults and children helping them engage in ministry for the glory of God and the growth of His Church.

SUNDAY SCHOOL VISION STATEMENT

Colossians 1:28-29 says, "Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that ye may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: Whereunto I also labor, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily."

To evangelize people through witnessing.

To educate people through teaching.

To engage people through ministry.
