CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Cedar Grove Missionary  Baptist Church has an active and vibrant Children's Ministry from newborn through the 7th grade. We are interested in helping children grow in faith, explore their world in positive and faith-filling ways, and learn what it means to be a part of God's family.  We have various activities and learning experiences geared just for children. 

Nursery (up to 3 yrs old)
We offer a staffed nursery every Sunday morning from 9:45 am to 12:00 am so parents can attend both Sunday School and Worship. We have both an infant and toddler room and we would love to care for your infant to 3 year old.

Sunday School
We believe that church should be a safe and fun place to learn about God's love for us. We have a full graded Sunday School with lots of Bible learning activities. Join us each week at 9:45 am. Sunday School classes are provided for students beginning at age 4 and continue up through high school. We are blessed with a group of dedicated and creative teachers who can't wait to spend time and share God's love with your children.

Children's Worship (for 4 yr olds - 2nd Graders)
We believe that children learn and worship differently than adults and it is our responsibility to address their needs as well as the parent’s needs, so while you are worshiping with us at 11:00 am all children from 4 years old through 2nd grade are welcome to join us after the offering is received for a fun-filled worship experience geared specifically for their age level. This worship service includes a story time, music, and crafts.

Vacation Bible School

We offer a one-week program for children and youth that is filled with fun, faith-building experiences for your children! The week promises to be loads of fun with daily snacks, crafts, songs and much more!  Click here to go to Vacation Bible School page to see the upcoming theme. 

Grove Kids

On Wednesday night while school is in session we gather together for a light meal, crafts and a Bible lesson with kids in kindergarten through 5th grade.

Journey in  the Grove

Middle school students ( 6th through 8th grades ) meet on Wednesday night for a light meal, games , and Bible lessons that teaches Life Principles to live by.

Impact of the Grove

High school students ( 9th through 12th grades ) meet on Wednesday nights for a light meal, discussion time, and lessons of how life principles from the Bible can help us in our daily walk.
